Decent value for annual plan

I was looking for a cost-effective way to add a shopping cart to my Squarespace site. The Squarespace ecommerce addon seemed like a good fit. I opted for the annual billing to get the 15 percent off, which made it much more affordable. The unlimited free trial for developers was great for testing everything out before committing. Setup was quick, and the recurring billing engine works well. Felt like I got good value for my money.

Reliable as always

This was my third time using Foxy for a new project, specifically for their WordPress shopping cart integration. It worked just as seamlessly as the last two times. The customer portal feature is a big plus for my clients. Always consistent, which is why I keep coming back.

Super easy integration!

Needed a quick solution for my static HTML site. The HTML checkout was so simple to get going! My customers can now buy stuff. So happy!

Good features, some setup needed

I used Foxy's headless ecommerce integration for my client's site. The API for ecommerce was robust, and setting up the custom checkout fields was fairly straightforward. I did find that the documentation could be a bit more detailed for certain edge cases, which added a little to the development time. But overall, it was a solid platform for what we needed, especially the responsive checkout templates.

I'm a non-profit, does Foxy have any special pricing or discounts for organizations like us?

J June 2 months ago
They do offer non-profit discounts, you just have to apply for it. Worth checking out.

Yes, I believe they have a specific discount program for non-profits. You'd need to contact them though to see if you qualify.

How does Foxy compare to Shopify, especially for someone who's comfortable with coding and wants a lot of control over the frontend?

L Laura 2 months ago
Foxy is way more developer-friendly if you want full control. Shopify is more all-in-one but less flexible for custom stuff.

If you're happy with code, Foxy gives you so much more freedom on the frontend. Shopify is a whole ecosystem, Foxy is just the cart/checkout part.

Can you use Foxycart with just a basic HTML website, or do you need a fancy CMS?

C Chris 2 months ago
You can totally use it with a static HTML site. That's one of its strong points.

Definitely. It's designed to be added to pretty much any website, even just plain old HTML.

Hey, I'm building a site in Webflow and need an e-commerce solution. Is Foxycart hard to get set up with Webflow?

N Nina 2 months ago
It's pretty straightforward actually. They have good docs on it. You basically just link it up.

I've done it, it's not bad at all. Way easier than some other stuff I've tried. They're built for integrations like that.

Thinking of using Foxycart for my small store, does anyone know if they charge transaction fees on top of what the payment gateway charges?

K Kate J. 3 months ago
Nah, Foxy itself doesn't add any transaction fees. Just what your payment processor takes.

That's right, they don't take a cut. It's just the gateway fees you gotta worry about, which is pretty sweet.
